Cogent Skills were delighted again to be the sponsor and lead judge for the British Coating Federation’s Excellence in Training Award.

The Award was presented at the BCF’s sell out Awards dinner on 15th November.  The winner was Crown Paints for their ‘Lets Talk Programme’.  Jenny Clucas, Cogent Skills said “I am delighted to congratulate Crown Paints for their award winning entry – they have developed a comprehensive coaching and feedback programme and culture where neither existed, which is proving to be sustainable and is delivering tangible benefits.”

Fiona Eason, People & Culture Director, Crown Paints  said:

Becoming the winner of the BCF Award for Excellence in Training has been an absolute highlight for the whole team at Crown Paints. We are very proud of our Let’s talk programme and wanted to share our experience and learnings. It was a first for us as a team entering an external award and the judging was tough, but fair and we really enjoyed show casing our programme. It has helped us validate Let’s Talk and we feel very proud to be able to celebrate this success both internally and externally. A big thank you to all the judges and the sponsor Cogent Skills and I would wholeheartedly encourage the participation of your team to enter the awards. Finally, the Awards dinner is a great event to engage and increase your team spirit.
