Industrial Sciences Skills Lead
Estera has joined Cogent Skills (within Cogent Charity) as Industrial Sciences Skills Lead, bringing 14 years of experience in workforce development, skills strategy and employer engagement across the UK, United States and emerging markets. In her role, she works with industry stakeholders across the industrial sciences and process industries to understand workforce challenges, develop sector skills strategies and deliver practical, industry-led skills solutions. Prior to joining Cogent, Estera served as Workforce Development Programme Lead at Argonne National Laboratory, a U.S. Department of Energy science and engineering research laboratory, where she focused on skills strategies for energy storage, battery manufacturing and emerging industrial sciences. She has also led large-scale workforce programmes and skills gap assessments across process industries, advanced manufacturing, petrochemicals, and energy sectors working in partnership with industry, government, universities and training providers.
