Iain has over 20 years of experience in Refining, Fuel Storage and Railway Construction industries. Having been responsible for multiple sites, Iain has a diverse knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to a spread of industries.
Most recently, Iain worked for Costain UK, beginning as SHEQ Manager and becoming SHE Manager on Fuels Storage depots across the UK and laterally on the CrossRail project. In this role he was responsible for Process Safety development in the rail environment. Within his Costain role Iain developed a process safety training course based on Cogent’s PS training standards aimed at railway and construction projects to understand the high hazard aspects of their working environments.
Iain has delivered Cogent/ Costain’s training to over 200 staff over the last few years.
