Samantha Harris

Samantha Harris joined the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) in 2021 where she works in Corporate Affairs, leading a team covering government relations, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement.
Samantha has a wealth of experience across the public sector. Prior to joining the NDA, she spent fifteen years as a civil servant in Whitehall working in Departments including Business, Transport, and the Environment. Samantha has worked across many disciplines including business sector-facing roles designed to build industrial capability and maximise growth and represented the UK in international negotiations to secure agreement on global environment and trade policies.
She has also spent time in UK Government Investments and Lloyds Banking Group.
Samantha studied Environmental Science at the University of Leeds, graduating with a first-class honours degree. She also holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science.
