JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be supporting the Compliance Lead and Compliance Team in conjunction with Quality Assurance (QA), within Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Manufacturing to manage and maintain quality, compliance and EHS requirements for the GMP manufacturing facilities.
Role Expectations:
- Quality and Compliance
- Support the Compliance Team and QA in managing GMP Quality documents including procedures, logbooks, and other documentation
- Support the monitoring, maintaining, and improving of systems and processes used for Quality and EHS compliance
- Identify problems and/or opportunities for Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
- Liaise with colleagues in API manufacturing and QA e.g., Technicians, Process Supervisors, Engineers, Project Leads, Facilities Managers and QA managers
- Maintain and record data applicable to the quality management systems
- Assist with problem solving and improvement activities
- Contribute to readiness activities before, during and after audits and inspections
- Complete compliance records and adhere to area GMP & EHS compliance requirements
- Support departmental colleagues and partnering lines with guidance on documentation completion, compliance/quality issues and system support
- Work proactively to deliver high quality, complete and on-time records to support EHS/quality investigations
- Monitor metrics and trends and use them to improve compliance standards that will meet internal and external auditor expectations
- Support with the management of the API Manufacturing Technical and Active libraries including management of Batch Record storage/archiving
- Support the Training Coordinator with ensuring training documentation is completed and archived in accordance with ALCOA principles and GMP expectations

- To be mentored/coached by experienced members of the team to develop the required skills and knowledge
- Liaise with procedure authors and subject matter experts in API Manufacturing and QA
