Cogent Skills has been at the forefront of Process Safety Management (PSM) training for major hazard industries for over 10 years with a focus on delivering a high quality, culture change Process Safety programme that has made a positive impact in companies in the Chemical sector. So being shortlisted for this category at the awards is something we feel proud to be recognised for.

We continue to work closely with key leaders in the field and our partners on the Process Safety Management Competence Programme board (PSMCPB) including the HSE, CIA, professional bodies, employers and unions to maintain the status of the PSM Training Standards so that they continue to be recognised by the Competent Authorities as well as industry and embed the ability for high hazard organisations to ensure that they have competent staff making them more efficient, effective and safe in their site operations.

The Chemical Industry Awards are the premier accolades for the UK chemical industry. The ceremony is an inspiring celebration of the best of the UK chemical and pharmaceutical industry. It provides an excellent opportunity to entertain existing clients, as well as celebrate the outstanding achievements of colleagues or business partners. The ceremony regularly attracts some 500 diners including senior representatives of chemical companies, government, industry experts and the media. They are designed to offer a unique opportunity to highlight and promote excellent performance at the company, site or individual level.

The Awards Ceremony will take place at St George’s Hall, Liverpool on 13 June 2019. The event provides an ideal opportunity to entertain valued clients, colleagues and guests in this celebration of the best of the UK chemical industry.
