Healthcare giant searches for new science talent

One of the most innovative pharmaceutical companies in the UK is on the hunt for the next generation of talent to work at its North Devon site.

Accord Healthcare employs around 750 people in Barnstaple – one of three locations in the UK – and is set to grow in the area in the coming years.

The company currently offers nine apprenticeships at different levels in a range of exciting roles – including laboratory technician, process and packaging operatives, health and safety, warehousing and supply chain planning.

It is also offering a degree-level apprenticeship in chemical science – which gives the chance to earn while studying for a BSc without incurring student debt or paying tuition fees – and is a great route into a rewarding career.

An apprenticeship with Accord Healthcare offers learners on-the-job training and a route into the global life sciences industry, which is worth more than £30 billion to the UK economy every year.

Apprentices will develop a set of highly-transferrable skills and the opportunity to progress into more senior roles across the business.
