Steve joined SIAS in January 2022 as Managing Director and is responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction. Steve is passionate about vocational education and skills, and is always focused on creating a dynamic and fresh approach to assessment, whilst maintaining quality and fantastic customer service.

Karl graduated with a BA honours in Accounting and qualified as an accountant (FCCA) whilst working in Industry. He has over 19 years’ experience of working within commercial manufacturing organisations with 13 of those years being within the Polymer Industry.

Nick leads the Cogent Skills Apprenticeship and Graduate Business Unit and has extensive knowledge of the skills and training arena, having worked with a range of providers and partner organisations.

Tina is an experienced policy maker with 15 years’ experience of working in Whitehall across five government departments and in the No. 10 Policy Unit.

Beccy has worked in the nuclear sector in strategic skills and people development roles for the last 13 years, having previously worked within the people development field in the commercial and education sectors.

Alex is the Head of Operations for the Consultancy and Courses Business Unit in Darlington overseeing the annual delivery of over £1.3m of regulatory training. As an ACCA Qualified Accountant, management professional and coach.

As Group Head of Marketing & Communications, Roger leads our marketing function which supports Cogent’s various business units and ensures our brand is known to the outside world.
