The scheme offers students from lower socio-economic backgrounds and underrepresented groups full university tuition fees, a £5,000 annual bursary and two paid summer work experience placements.

This mix of financial support and real-world industry experience is unique in the sector and is a great pathway to a rewarding and challenging career in nuclear. With 50 students already benefiting, the programme is already transforming lives and building the skills pipeline the sector needs.

Applications for September 2026 are open and we’re keen to work with charities and community organisations to reach talented young people who may not otherwise access these opportunities.
