Apprenticeships play a critical role in growing the skills base of our science industries by building capability, developing job-ready skills and strengthening teams for the future.
The theme for this year’s National Apprenticeship Week (February 9-15) is ‘Skills for Life’ and we’ll be highlighting the practical, long-term skills apprentices gain on the job and the difference they make to their employers.
We’re inviting employers to help us by completing one or more of the following, either as a short video or a written message, which we’ll use across our LinkedIn and our Not Just Lab Coats channels
“Apprenticeships enable our business to…” “Apprentices bring skills to our business that…” “Hiring apprentices has helped us to…” “The real value of apprenticeships for our business is…” “Apprentices develop skills for life in our business by…”
Of course, we’d also love to hear from your apprentices – they can complete one or more of the following:
“My apprenticeship has helped me develop skills for life by…” “The skills I use most in my role are…” “One thing I didn’t expect to learn during my apprenticeship was…” “My apprenticeship has prepared me for the future by…” “The most valuable skill I’ve gained so far is…”
Email Jade Nixon ([email protected]) with your messages by February 5.
And don’t forget to follow Not Just Lab Coats on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
