Overview
Cogent Skills Training has developed a premium one-day Awareness course on the Management of Contractors and Permit to Work as a part of our Competence Development Programme. Our industry experts, in line with HSE Guidelines, have designed the course to provide interactive and thought-provoking content that creates the importance of Managing contractors and permits to work.

Who is it for?
This course is designed for all operational managers and supervisors without direct responsibility for Contractor Management, the Permit to Work process, and all other employees in operational roles.
Learning Outcomes
The learning is divided into two parts:
- Awareness of Management of Contractors: In the first part, you will gain an understanding of why it is important and necessary to manage contractors and sub-contractors, as well as visitors and deliveries. You will also learn how to suitably manage them and understand your responsibilities while they are on-site.
- Permit to Work processes: In the second part, you will learn why the permit to work process is important and necessary, and how it operates. You will also understand your responsibilities within the permit to work process.

Assessment
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be required to take an online assessment to obtain their certification. The link to access the assessment will be provided four weeks after the course date, and candidates will have a three-week window from the date of issuance to complete the assessment.
