National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is a celebration of apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses, and communities. Held annually, the week-long event shines a light on the benefits of apprenticeships and the various opportunities available to young people, job seekers, and those looking to upskill and retrain. This year NAW is being held 6-12 February and the theme is ‘Skills For Life’.
Apprenticeships offer people of all ages the chance to gain hands-on experience, build practical skills, and earn a wage while they learn. In recent years, apprenticeships have become increasingly popular as a way for individuals to pursue their careers and gain valuable qualifications, while also helping to address the skills gap faced by many UK industries.
NAW involves a range of activity, all designed to provide a greater understanding of apprenticeships and the opportunities they offer. Throughout the week we will be sharing case studies, top tips, real apprentice experiences, current vacancies and much more via our website and social media channels. you can also join in & follow the wider conversation via #NAW2023 & #SkillsForLife
