Alex joins from leading apprenticeships awarding organisation SIAS, where she was Head of Product for four years. Prior to that, she worked for an independent training provider in the north east of England for ten years, building a team specialising in STEM apprenticeships which played a key role in her employer become the leading provider for standards in the region.

In her new role with Cogent, Alex will be responsible for driving the growth of its apprenticeship programs, expanding existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring quality across its apprenticeship delivery.

I’m really pleased to have Alex on board as our new Head of Commercial. Alex brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously worked for training providers and end point assessment organisations.

She will play a huge part in supporting our employers as we continue growing our apprenticeships business, as well as bolstering our position among the leading providers in the science and process manufacturing industries.
