Cogent Skills Apprenticeship Training division has been shortlisted in two categories at the Apprenticeship Guide Awards 2026: Best Apprenticeship in Manufacturing and Excellence in Training Delivery.
The nomination for Best Apprenticeship in Manufacturing is in recognition for our work on the Process Industry Manufacturing Technician (PIMT) and Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) apprenticeships.
The award recognises outstanding apprenticeship programmes within all areas of manufacturing and celebrates organisations which nurture talent and contribute to the strength and innovation in the industry.
Managing Director of Apprenticeship Training at Cogent Skills, James McIntosh, said: “We’re thrilled to be nominated in two incredibly competitive categories at these prestigious awards.
“The list of other nominees reads like a who’s who of the industry and it’s such a credit to the hard work of everyone in the Cogent team. Their talent and passion for delivering the best training for employers and learners is among the very best in the business.”
The winners will be announced on April 30 in Leeds. Read more about the awards here: https://apprenticeshipguideawards.co.uk.
