Education Select Committee report: The future of post-16 qualifications

The House of Commons Education Select Committee has published a report following the 2021/22 inquiry on post-16 qualifications.

The Education Select Committee report contains a number of recommendations, including pausing plans to defund certain Applied General Qualifications (including BTECs) which overlap with T Levels until a more robust evidence base is in place, as well as closer working between universities and IfATE on progression from T Levels into higher education.
