In 2021, the Futures group launched its ‘Life Sciences: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I)’ report for the UK Life Sciences industry. The research used a combination of survey responses, national data sources, case studies and examples of ‘best practice’, together with a comprehensive literature review to explore a broad range of topics. The report concluded with a checklist of 27 ED&I-related initiatives across four critical areas for employers to consider introducing into their business. A copy of the report can be found here.

We are launching a new study into ED&I within Life Sciences two years after our initial research. Please complete a short survey to provide an evidence base for the new report.

The research has been designed to update the key metrics from last year’s report and, crucially, to map industry engagement against the list of 27 recommended initiatives. The results will be published early in 2023. However, the report will only contain aggregated information, not individual companies’ responses. Any information/data shared within this survey will not be made available elsewhere. Please view our privacy policy here.

If you have any queries about the survey, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Carl Bramwell, Senior Research and Policy Officer at Cogent Skills – carl.bramwell@cogentskills.com
