Leading in the Process Industries is a comprehensive portfolio of leadership and management courses designed to meet the requirements of new and existing Supervisors within the industry sector.

These courses cover the fundamental principles required by Supervisors to perform their duties and to help them develop their leadership and management competencies. LIPI moves away from technical knowledge and develops supervisors in the wider aspects of their role.

The subjects selected are based on the need for supervisors to deliver business objectives through the teams that they manage. Delivered by highly experienced inspirational trainers, the courses are proactive and focus on science industry scenarios.

Delivered by inspirational trainers, LIPI consists of 7 courses all of which meet the Cogent Skills Gold Standard* – three of which are embedded in the Gold Standard* competency framework for new supervisors.

Existing supervisors can attend any course in isolation or a selection of courses, depending on specific requirements, for example staff appraisals.
