We’re working with Cheshire and Warrington LSIP to gain a deeper understanding of the skills gaps facing our Life Sciences sector.

This is your chance to find out where the industry is heading and check out the amazing facilities on offer at Warrington and Vale College, whilst networking with peers.

The life sciences sector has a huge role to play in revitalising our economy and the profile of the industry has never been higher. Life sciences is one of the key areas identified by the government as crucial in driving economic growth and will deliver a strategy for the sector ahead of its industrial strategy.

The recent Life Science 2025: Developing the Skills for Future Growth report showed the north west is a key region for the sector, with more people employed in life sciences than anywhere else outside the London and South-East/East of England area.

It’s crucial we understand the skills gaps employers are facing to do this as effectively as possible to help deliver the highly skilled life sciences workforce

The roundtable will take place on June 10 at Warrington & Vale College and include a site tour, refreshments provided. 10.30am to 1.00pm.
