FORTUNE magazine identify and rank the World’s Most Admired Companies each year. Every October Fortune conduct a huge survey of eligible executives and directors, along with financial analysts, to identify the companies that enjoy the strongest reputations within their industries and overall. This year the final candidate list was comprised of hundreds of leading companies from 28 different countries across 52 industry groupings.
The attributes each company is evaluated against are:

This year Pfizer was included in the top 5 most admired companies in the world, beating the likes of Starbucks, Netflix and Walt Disney.
