Main Description
To ensure the quality of our rubber is fit for purpose and meets all specifications / customer requirements.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You will work alongside a team of other testers in a busy factory work environment.
Ultimately, you are the final check before material is released to our customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Conduct tests on a number of different pieces of laboratory equipment in real time e.g Rheometer (Viscosity and cure characteristics), Specific Gravity, hardness etc.
• Weigh chemicals and convert intermediate products to finished compound for testing.
• Report failures and problems to management, pause the manufacturing line if you identify a problem.
• Create detailed laboratory reports.
• Record keeping.
• Understand statistical analysis to spot trends.
• Help troubleshoot issues.
• Release material for dispatch.
• Work towards a recognised Qualification

Training Provider: Cogent Skills
Delivery model: Blended- the course is taught mainly online and there is a one 3-day residential.
